I know this is by no means a great photo but I shared it because the smell of mouldy net in a bin is one I’ll remember with great happiness into my old age, although at Borough Alliance the nets were allowed to air in an old garage but the whole garage smellt the same. Maybe it isn’t the smell of damp, it’s the smell of football.
Also I hope everytime I see it I will remember the comment from social media asking me if it was Pot Noodle. If only they did sell Pot Noodle in that size - but it would have to be Chicken and Mushroom, Bombay Bad Boy would be a step too far.
